We took two years to perfect the formula for our makeup, and we are proud to say we created an extraordinary makeup line.
Em Pretty launched in January, 2020. Our sales were strong when we launched. Our product line, because we are clean beauty, was being considered by several television shopping channels. Two months after we launched, the pandemic hit. We had several other family businesses we needed to tend to and decided it was time to exit the color cosmetic business. We are selling a beautiful makeup line with our incredible trademarked tagline, “Protect Your Pretty”.
Our trademarked tagline, along with packaged inventory valued at $150,000 is included in the sale along with all logos and images.
What’s involved in running this business
This business requires an ongoing digital marketing plan, along with a strong social media presence. Besides the marketing, there is also order fulfillment and accounting duties (I have used Quickbooks). I have over $150,000 in inventory so there would not need to be an investment in the product line in the short term.

The Em Pretty product line is fantastic. We have perfect customer reviews on our site. This business needs brand awareness through digital marketing and social media. I would also suggest the new owner reach out to the three on-air shopping channels we had started discussions with just prior to the pandemic. The reason of selling this business
We launched Em Pretty in January, 2020. Two months later the pandemic hit and I lost my day job. We started off strong, but this business requires a marketing investment beyond my current capabilities. Additionally, my daughter received an out-of-state acting opportunity I encouraged her to pursue.
